Mattel Italy seeks a passionate intern for its Barbie Brand Marketing team in Milan. The intern will support the development of market strategies, asset creation, and market/competition analysis. Responsibilities include supporting brand strategy and product line development for Italy, assisting with new product launches, analyzing the toy market and competition, benchmarking across EMEA, collaborating with sales, customer marketing, and market research, managing product information, and providing administrative support. The ideal candidate possesses a marketing degree, analytical skills, strong Microsoft Office proficiency, digital marketing understanding, and fluency in Italian and English.

The Opportunity: 

Mattel Italy is currently seeking for a passionate intern to join the Barbie Brand Marketing Team for our office in Milan, who is eager to learn and develop himself or herself in a multinational and challenging environment.

What Your Impact Will Be: 

You will support the Marketing team on the development of market strategies, assets creation & analysis of the Italian market and competition. Some of your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support with creation of brand strategy and product line for Italy.
  • Support the launch of new products. 
  • Analysis of toy market and competition.
  • Cross benchmark across EMEA countries to better understand the opportunities.
  • Work close with local Sales, Customer Marketing and Market Research to drive sales, revenue and market share.
  • Management of product information across Mattel tools.
  • Administrative support.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For: 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, in Marketing or related fields.
  • Previous experience in Marketing or similar departments is a plus.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Project).
  • Digital Marketing understanding (digital funnel, social media, etc).
  • Learning agility & creativity skills.
  • Organizational skills & attention to details.
  • Curiosity and eager to challenge the status quo.
  • Team player.
  • Multicultural mindset & respectful.
  • Fluent in Italian & English.
