Job Description
Matific, a leading global EdTech provider, is seeking a proactive Intern QA Engineer to join their team. This role involves learning Web Automation and Manual testing, contributing to quality assurance initiatives, and driving continuous improvement. The intern will assist in creating and executing test cases, supporting functional and regression testing, tracking defects, and collaborating with various teams to enhance product quality.
Good To Have:
- Basic understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices
- Familiarity with multiple devices and platforms (mobile, tablets, desktop)
Must Have:
- Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases for web
- Support functional and regression testing across multiple devices – mobile, tablets, desktop and web
- Help identify, log, and track defects in JIRA
- Support QA test planning and contribute to end-to-end (E2E) test automation initiatives
- Learn and develop expertise in the Matific product suite
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand and contribute to quality processes
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (recent graduates and 3rd year students welcome)
- Strong interest in QA, automation, and software testing
- Willingness to learn functional, regression, and cross-device testing
- Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Passion for quality, attention to detail, and a proactive “can-do” attitude

THE ROLE
We’re looking for a proactive Intern QA Engineer with a desire to learn Web Automation / Manual testing to help our quality assurance initiatives and drive continuous improvement and innovation across our processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining automated and manual test cases for web
- Support functional and regression testing across multiple devices – mobile, tablets, desktop and web
- Help identify, log, and track defects in JIRA
- Support QA test planning and contribute to end-to-end (E2E) test automation initiatives
- Learn and develop expertise in the Matific product suite
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand and contribute to quality processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (recent graduates and 3rd year students welcome)
