This internship provides hands-on experience in design, motion graphics, and creative production within AGBO's Visual Development team. Responsibilities include asset organization, design work, presentation preparation, research, and basic motion graphics/video edits. The intern will support the team by streamlining creative workflows across projects, assisting with key visuals, and gathering visual inspiration. The ideal candidate is passionate about entertainment and visual storytelling and eager to gain industry experience. The internship is paid and offers internship credit for students.

About the Position:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Multimedia Intern to support our Visual Development team. This role offers hands-on learning experience in design, motion graphics, and creative production while primarily serving as a support role for the team. The ideal candidate is passionate about entertainment and visual storytelling and eager to gain industry experience. Responsibilities include assisting with asset organization, light design work, presentation preparation, research, and basic motion graphics or video edits to help streamline creative workflows across projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and organize internal visual development catalog of video, motion, and static media assets, written materials, and project files.
  • Take meeting notes and summarize key takeaways for the team.
  • Assist in creating, formatting, and updating presentations, templates, and other design/art assets, including basic technical setup for presentations.
  • Assist with key visuals, simple motion graphics and assist with basic video edits.
  • Gather visual inspiration references for relevant meetings and projects.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program related to film/tv, digital media, or a related field.
  • Experience with design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator and other relevant design software.
  • Experience with presentation tools like Powerpoint and Google Slides
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and video editing software (such as After Effects or Premiere Pro) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Topaz) is a plus.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to take clear notes and summarize information effectively
  • Passion for film, TV, streaming, gaming, or pop culture content.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to an evolving creative environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to work out of our DTLA office.

About the Program:

  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a related field such as Graphic Design or Media Studies. Junior/Senior applications preferred.
  • Application Deadline: March 28, 2025 at 11:59pm ET
  • Program Duration: June 9, 2025 - August 29, 2025
  • All applicants are encouraged to submit a portfolio of your work.
  • Scheduled Weekly Hours: 20 hours max per week
  • Applicant must possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Los Angeles, CA area
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work
  • Internship Credit is also provided for students seeking academic credit for this experience
  • The internship is paid internship: $17.28 Hourly
