ABOUT THE TEAM:
The Internal Audit team at our organization plays a crucial role in maintaining financial integrity, operational effectiveness and regulatory compliance. We evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide valuable insights to support the company's mission in the fintech sector, ensuring robust governance across all operations. Tide’s Internal Audit function runs primarily a co-sourced model, which relies on support and expertise from external firms.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Internal Audit Manager based in Delhi, you will lead our Internal Audit function in India, reporting to the global Head of Internal Audit. Your key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement risk-based internal audit plans for India operations.
• Audit Execution: Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits across various departments.
• Co-sourced Audit Leadership: manage consulting and audit partners in outsourced and co-sourced audit engagements.
• Risk Management: Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and risk management processes.
• Reporting: Prepare and present audit updates to local senior management and the Audit Committee as well as global leadership when required.
• Regulatory Liaison: Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies, particularly the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Manager to take ownership of the Internal Audit function in India. The ideal candidate will have:

• 7+ years of experience in internal audit, preferably in tech/fintech or financial services sectors
• Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong understanding of financial services regulations in India
• Experience interacting with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) is a big plus
• Proficiency in internal audit standards (IIA), risk assessment methodologies, and internal control testing
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• World-class communication skills
