International Growth Consultant, Large Customer Sales

Job Description

The International Growth Consultant at Google's Large Customer Sales team partners with major advertisers and agencies. You'll be a trusted advisor, providing insights and support to help clients exceed their international growth ambitions. This role involves identifying international opportunities, developing strategies, understanding client objectives, and executing projects impacting their global market understanding. You'll leverage data to generate market insights and business proposals, working across multiple digital platforms. The position requires fluency in English, and either Portuguese or Vietnamese, and experience in a problem-solving role within advertising, consulting, media, or with advertising agencies. Responsibilities include understanding customer objectives, acting as a digital consultant, and contributing to Google's international growth resources.
Must have:
  • 4+ years experience in advertising/consulting
  • Fluency in English and Portuguese/Vietnamese
  • Problem-solving skills leveraging data
  • Client engagement and business development
  • Develop international growth strategies
Good to have:
  • Experience in LATAM, MENA, or Vietnam markets
  • Cross-border business experience

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in advertising business, consulting, media, or with advertising agencies.
  • Experience in a problem solving role, leveraging data to generate market insights or business proposals.
  • Experience in a business or client-engagement role.
  • Ability to communicate in English, and Portuguese or Vietnamese fluently to interact with local clients and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in developing grounded, insight-motivated narratives and applying them in mobile, digital, and offline mediums into business growth opportunities.
  • Experience in cross-border or exporting business with knowledge of digital advertising.
  • Experience working in markets like LATAM, Middle East and North Africa (MENA) or Vietnam.
  • Ability to take initiative and work in ambiguity, with an entrepreneurial and goal oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication, investigative, project management, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to tell stories with data.

About the job

The International Growth Team (IGT) helps customers and Google realize the full potential of international growth across Google Ads. The team is composed of experienced Strategy Consultants, Consultative Promoters, and Operations Experts.

In this role, you will be a trusted advisor and partner to our customers. You will provide insights and direct support, helping them reach and exceed their international ambitions.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Identify international growth opportunities based on existing frameworks and tools, and develop new ideas and approaches to drive international growth for an assigned portfolio.
  • Understand customer's objectives, and be a digital consultant to businesses in APAC looking for international opportunities in emerging markets such as Latin America (LATAM), or Middle-East North-Africa.
  • Understand the market landscape, develop and execute projects around international growth, impacting client's understanding of global markets.
  • Contribute to growing international growth acumen and resources within Google, and support other members in your network by sharing knowledge about your assigned market.
  • Build knowledge related to advertising on Google, Google Display Network, and YouTube.
