Skydance Media seeks a motivated intern for its Features Physical Production team (Summer 2025). This paid, full-time internship (June 9 - August 15, 9 AM - 6 PM) offers hands-on experience in various production aspects, including pre-production planning, budgeting, scheduling, post-production, and delivery. Interns will support daily operations (file management, vendor communication, document auditing), attend meetings, review production documents, and contribute to project groups in different development stages. Ideal for students transitioning to the industry, the internship provides networking opportunities with Skydance leaders.

Skydance Media is looking for motivated and enthusiastic Summer interns!
This internship will work closely with our Features Physical Production teams, and offers its own unique learning opportunities. You will have the chance to network and meet with Skydance leaders, learn about and contribute to a variety of production-related tasks, and gain real-world experience. It is an experience ideal for those moving from classroom to the industry.
This is a ten-week long paid, full-time internship. You must be able to work 9:00 AM-6:00 PM for the duration of this internship program.
This internship application will close on April 1st, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Develop a general understanding of the physical production process, including pre-production planning, budgeting, scheduling, post production, and delivery
- Work with all project groups in various stages of development and production
- Listen in on production and general meetings with Skydance executives
- Support daily office operations including, but not limited to, digital file management, vendor communications, document auditing, asset organization, and production software support.
- Review existing production documentation and creative content, including scripts and dailies, from a physical production perspective.
- Handle confidential correspondence, reports, presentations and other documents

Requirements
- Must be available for 10-week program, Monday, June 9 - Friday, August 15
- Must be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Must be currently enrolled in an Associates, Bachelor or Master’s program at an accredited institution
- Proficiency in MS Office; Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong interest in feature physical production and the entertainment industry
- Self-starter with proficient writing and critical thinking skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Ability to excel in a high-powered, fast-paced media entertainment environment
The hourly rate for this non-exempt position in Santa Monica is $17.81
You must be available to work full-time from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (PT) for the duration of the program (Mon-Fri, June 9 to August 15). Our offices will be closed on June 19 and July 4. Aside from those dates, no additional vacation days can be accommodated.
