This internship in Game Design at Virtuos in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, offers a chance to contribute to ongoing game projects. Responsibilities

  • Quickly assimilate Designs and Knowledge of the current project(s) 
  • Complete Task assigned within the current project at a professional level 
  • Maintain documentation of design decisions 
  • Collaborate across the teams to create engaging game content that aligns with the overall vision. 
  • Coordinate with Artist, Engineers, Production, QA, and other team members to ensure integration of design elements into the Game. 
  • Respond to feedback and use an iterative approach when designing. 
  • Work with the player in mind and push the mentality of “What would the player enjoy” 
  • Drive self to continue to learn and remain current on all the latest industry trends. 
  • Act as support for other team members in documenting and closing out task. 
  • Responsible to complete all training and seek out avenues of growth within Design and Game Development 
  • Design Trainee will be required to ‘help’ and ‘learn’ and ‘grow’ as part of their duties more so than other designers while also fulfilling the general design needs. 

Qualifications

  • Open to Game or Level Design students who are preferably in their final semester of university with a requirement to undergo industrial training. 
  • Good communication skills in English and able to work in English-speaking working environment. 
  • Good problem-solving resilience. 
  • An innovative force in the profession. 
  • Passionate about games, and game development. 
  • This position is open to Malaysians only.
