IT Application Analyst

We’re looking to hire an IT Application Analyst for a World-renowned medical center. Medical institution known for its patient-centered care, cutting-edge research, and a collaborative culture that fosters innovation, excellence, and compassionate healthcare. 

You’ll join the IT Support Analysis team to support clinical software, manage incidents, create documentation, collaborate with vendors, and implement new solutions. This is a 7–12-month contract opportunity. The role is a fully remote. 

IT Application Analyst Responsibilities:  

• Support multiple vended software applications as part of the application support team, serving as the primary IT contact for both new and existing applications and contributing to project teams. 

• Handle, troubleshoot, and resolve break/fix incident tickets while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. 

• Participate in an on-call rotation, providing after-hours support approximately one week every nine weeks. 

• Develop comprehensive technical documentation for both new and existing applications. 

• Facilitate application onboarding by collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal teams, and creating architecture diagrams for review and approval by the architecture board. 

• Oversee the implementation of new software applications in both SaaS and on-premises environments, including planning, analysis, and deployment. 

IT Application Analyst Requirements:  

Required skill 

• Administering and supporting vended software applications in a clinical setting. 

• Incident management for technical support issues including troubleshooting issues, working with clinical customers including administrative, nursing, and consulting staff. 

• Preparing and writing high quality technical and process documentation. 

• Working with software vendors including implementation teams, project managers, leaders, and technical support. 

• Ability to plan small projects and tasks effectively, multitask between implementation projects, documentation, and technical support. 

• Willing to learn new concepts and technologies, tolerance for ambiguity, able to ask good questions. 

Preferred skills 

• Experience with MS SQL databases or other similar relational database management systems and ability to write SQL queries and interpret results. 

• Experience creating diagrams in Microsoft Visio
