Our client is a leading commodity trading and logistics company.
We require an accomplished IT Business Analyst with in-depth experience of completing detailed business process analysis and requirement gathering to enable the delivery of complex software development projects. Within this role, you will be responsible for understanding and verifying business cases for change, completing business process analysis, and defining business requirements, functional requirements, and design.
This will be executed across multiple projects within the trading division. You will manage relationships and expectations with business stakeholders and sponsors. You will also provide support to the development and test teams throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.
You are expected to apply structured analysis and problem solving in areas where you may not have business domain knowledge and experience.
Primary responsibility is the determination & clear articulation of business requirements for C-Risk application globally.
Work independently with IT/external consultants & vendor to deliver C-Risk and to ensure the solution meets requirements.
Close engagement with business teams, acting as the requirements authority (the source of truth) when clarification of the business process is required, and identifying process improvement opportunities.
Close engagement with the business and solution architecture teams to agree on a logical design of the solution, including screen design & usability to optimise business processes.
Review the configuration deliverables and be the gate-keeper to baseline the C-Risk UAT/Production configurations.
Analyse the functional features in the quarterly patch cycles and product support for C-Risk application.
Support development teams to ensure a solution meets its business requirements.
Quality assurance of any technical development against business requirements.
Key point of functional escalation for technical and QA teams during requirement development & testing.
Support change management and training teams to prepare business stakeholder for process and functional change.
Provide third line support for production issues.
Coach and mentor technology partner teams for the assigned work stream.

Proven ability to act as a bridge between the business and highly technical developers located in remote offices, translating business concepts into requirements that are implementable.
Expected to have 4-7 years' experience of business analysis specifically in implementation and support of C-Risk/ other Credit Risk application (preferably in a commodity trading environment).
Broad knowledge of commodities trading, physical and financial products.
Expected to have domain knowledge in all of the following areas: o Collateral and Margining management o Counterparty risk limits and PFE calculations o Legal documentation/ credit clauses/ securitization
Demonstrable ability to drive business process changes
challenging current business practices, working with key business process personnel
Experience of defining requirements for interfaces between application components or systems and support in the development and testing thereof
Able to support quality assurance test cycles and support testing, defect resolution processes.
Strong change management skills, ability to manage several projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
Experience of a variety of software development methodologies (e.g. continuous integration, iterative development) and software product implementation, upgrade, maintenance and support.
