The IT Cloud Governance Analyst is responsible for understanding and analyzing cloud costs, ensuring the best commercial terms with technological vendors. This role involves building and tracking the technology budget, managing third-party vendor lifecycles, and negotiating contracts for favorable pricing and service level agreements (SLAs). The analyst will also produce monthly reports on IT infrastructure usage, identify trends, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate will be part of a high output team, directly contributing to company results. They will master CSPs’ expenses and billing criteria. The candidate will produce monthly reports on IT infra usage, explaining main trends, variations and deviations. They will become the key point of contact for key vendors, managing the third party lifecycle. They will own the Performance Management Framework that defines and measures each vendor’s KPIs and SLAs and play a key role in contract renegotiations to get better pricing models, SLAs and/or discounts.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Solid experience with cost analysis and forecasting (IT preferred).
  • Experience negotiating contracts and vendor management.
  • Master tools like Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with large unstructured data sets.
  • SQL knowledge.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
Good to have:
  • Data Discovery Tooling experience (e.g.: Looker, PowerBI).
  • Knowledge and experience with IT cloud providers.

Job Details

We're looking for a talented and passionate Planning Analyst to join Wildlife's Cloud Economics team.

The IT Cloud Governance Analyst is key to ensure we understand our costs, analysing their drivers and getting the best possible commercial conditions from our technological vendors. You will be responsible for building the technology budget and tracking actual costs against it throughout the year, working with our teams and technological partners to avoid deviations. To ensure we have solid partnerships with our critical providers, the IT Cloud Governance Analyst will manage the third party lifecycle and play a key role in contract negotiations to get the best possible pricing models, SLAs and/or discounts.

What you'll do

  • Be part of a high output team, directly contributing to company results.

  • Produce the annual technology budget.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Solid experience with cost analysis and forecasting (for IT is highly desirable).
  • Relevant Experience with negotiating contracts and vendor management.
  • Master tools like Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Data Discovery Tooling experience (e.g.: Looker, PowerBI).
  • Knowledge and experience with IT cloud providers.
  • Experience with large unstructured data sets.
  • SQL knowledge.
  • English advanced level.
