Naughty Dog is seeking an IT Coordinator to join their IT team, supporting the studio's operations. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual passionate about operational excellence in IT support, asset management, onboarding, and project coordination. The IT Coordinator will act as a key liaison between teams, vendors, and users, ensuring the smooth functioning of the IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include tracking and managing IT hardware and software assets, coordinating equipment shipping and disposal, administering user accounts and licenses, and providing Tier 1-2 technical support to local and remote staff. The position also involves maintaining workplace technology, leading IT initiatives, documenting procedures, generating reports, and liaising with vendors and the Finance team for procurement.
Must have:
  • 4+ years experience in IT support or administration
  • Expertise in IT asset tracking systems
  • Fluency with reporting tools like Excel
  • Experience managing software licenses
  • Familiarity with user onboarding/offboarding workflows
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to write technical documentation
  • Proficiency in Windows environments (Active Directory, OKTA, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ticketing systems (Zendesk)
  • Comfortable with collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams, Slack, etc.)
Good to have:
  • Experience with Visio, PowerPoint, Domo, and Tableau
  • Experience with task management tools like Jira
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite for troubleshooting

Job Details

This position is for temporary engagement through our staffing partner DZConnex. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for this position.

This is an onsite role in Santa Monica, CA, and requires in-person attendance five days a week.

Naughty Dog is seeking an IT Coordinator to join our IT team in supporting the studio. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with a passion for operational excellence across IT support, asset management, onboarding, and project coordination. The IT Coordinator will serve as a vital connection point between teams, vendors, and users—maintaining and improving the systems and workflows that keep our infrastructure running smoothly. What will you do: 

  • Track, manage, and organize all IT hardware and software assets, ensuring accurate lifecycle visibility
  • Coordinate the shipping, receiving, tagging, and inventory updates of new and returning equipment
  • Oversee secure e-waste disposal and asset decommissioning in accordance with internal policies
  • Administer and support user accounts, licenses, and permissions throughout the employee lifecycle
  • Facilitate onboarding, offboarding, and return-to-studio coordination in collaboration with internal teams
  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support for local and remote staff, resolving issues with devices, software, and connectivity
  • Maintain and support mobile device setups, printers, VPN access, and general workplace technology
  • Lead or assist with project tracking and IT initiatives, including hardware refreshes and infrastructure upgrades
  • Document and maintain IT procedures, FAQs, and configuration guides in platforms like Confluence
  • Generate monthly reports on asset inventory, ticket trends, licensing, and tool utilization
  • Serve as a liaison with vendors and the Finance team for procurement, RMAs, and support, ensuring accurate records and credential management
  • Additional responsibilities may apply

What skill will you use: 

  • 4+ years of experience preferred in IT support, coordination, or administration within a fast-paced or technical environment
  • Expertise in using and managing IT asset tracking systems and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Fluency with data-driven reporting and presentation tools such as Microsoft Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Domo, and Tableau
  • Experience managing software licenses and deployments across multiple users and devices
  • Familiarity with user onboarding/offboarding workflows, access provisioning, and lifecycle tracking
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver on project milestones
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to write and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and internal knowledge base content
  • Proficiency in Windows environments, including enterprise tools like Active Directory, OKTA, GSuite, and Microsoft 365
  • Working knowledge of IT ticketing systems such as Zendesk and task management tools like Jira
  • Comfortable using productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, Slack, Confluence, Zoom, Miro, and Google Workspace
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite applications for basic troubleshooting and user support
