We’re looking for an experienced and proactive IT Support Engineer to join our office in Ireland. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the stable and efficient operation of our IT infrastructure, supporting colleagues both onsite and remotely, configuring and administering systems, contributing to Wi-Fi network development, and automating routine processes.
This role involves official employment in Ireland.
Providing technical support for users, including remote ones;
Processing user requests, including remote ones, and providing consultations;
Troubleshooting hardware and software errors; managing system permissions; installing, configuring, and maintaining software components;
Assisting employees working at Playrix's offices and remotely install software and hardware components;
Providing support for office infrastructure;
Administrating operating systems - Windows and macOS;
Providing technical support of video conferences;
Performing hardware inventory;
Writing software user manuals and instructions;
Optimizing and automating current processes.
At least 3 years of experience in technical support or Service Desk (1st or 2nd line);
Excellent knowledge of the architecture of modern PCs and laptops, as well as skills in diagnostics and minor repair;
Knowledge of the principles of construction and operation of local and global networks and telecommunication protocols;
Experience in RF analysis, design and optimization of access point placement;
Experience in monitoring and optimizing Wi-Fi network performance, ability to solve problems with low speed, packet loss and latency;
Experience working with two of the following operating systems: Windows, macOS, Linux;
System administration skills of one of the following: Active Directory, Azure AD, Google Workspace;
Experience with VPN solutions, including Cisco AnyConnect;
Experience writing technical documentation and user manuals;
Basic knowledge of the standards of IT services provision (ITIL, COBIT, ISO 20000).
Programming skills (Python, PowerShell);
Experience as a Network Engineer;
Experience in the budgeting or procurement of IT equipment;
Experience with equipment inventory management systems;
