Job Description

The IT Support Technician will be the front line within the IT organization, enabling, facilitating, and supporting a high-performing, fast-paced technology company. Responsibilities include providing first-line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. This involves resolving connectivity problems, managing user accounts, and maintaining IT inventory. Additionally, the role requires documenting technical solutions, training users, collaborating on IT projects, and handling user onboarding and offboarding processes. Complex issues will be escalated to higher-tier support.
Must have:
  • 3+ years in a customer-facing IT support role.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
Good to have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Jamf, Intune, AutoPilot, Microsoft 365, Okta, Active Directory, and Azure.

As a IT Support Technician, you will be at our front line and in the most outwardly facing position within our IT organization. Your days will be spent as an enabler, a facilitator, and a supporter of a high performing and fast paced technology company.

Your Day to Day

  • Provide first-line IT support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Resolve connectivity problems, including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN.
  • Install, configure, and maintain OS, applications, and IT peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts and access controls (Active Directory, Office 365, etc.).
  • Document technical solutions and maintain a knowledge base.
  • Train users on IT tools and best practices.
  • Maintain IT inventory and collaborate on IT projects.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-tier support or vendors.
  • Support company meetings and conference rooms.
  • Handle user onboarding and offboarding processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years in a customer-facing IT support role with a strong service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written/verbal communication and customer engagement skills.
  • Experience supporting Mac, Windows, and Linux environments.
  • Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, Slack, and other collaboration tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with Jamf, Intune, AutoPilot, Microsoft 365, Okta, Active Directory, and Azure.
