Job Description

Miniclip is looking for an IT Support Technician to hire in our Lisbon (PT) Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the best game companies in the world! With over 250 million game players each month, Miniclip reaches users across online, mobile, and social platforms.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an IT professional to share experience on technologies along with working from the very beginning on new projects and new services.

What will you be doing at Miniclip?

Technical Support & IT Management:

• Diagnose and resolve software, hardware, and basic networking issues.
• Document solutions and technical knowledge in manuals and notes.
• Configure and install computers across MacOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Maintain IT infrastructure and commonly used local and cloud applications.
• Provide technical support via email, phone, chat, and in-person across all offices.
• Ensure proper issue tracking using Miniclip’s internal ticketing system.
• Manage IT inventory, including hardware, software, and licenses.
• Collaborate with IT teams and departments like Finance, HR, and Legal to meet technology needs.
• Oversee software license requests, assignments, and vendor communications.
• Handle hardware requests, define departmental standards, and find cost-effective resellers.

Project Management:

• Actively support IT projects and contribute to their success.
• Work with project managers and teams to meet project milestones efficiently.

What are we looking for?

We seek a skilled communicator with a strong technical background, excellent social skills, and a team-oriented mindset. The IT Support Technician should be passionate, dedicated, and eager to improve existing solutions while contributing new ideas.

Key Skills:

• Computer hardware, systems, and software
• Networking fundamentals
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Basic project management methodologies
• Fluent English (written and spoken)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of IT support experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus #LI-AC1
