About The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced developer who specializes in the development of robust, highly available IVR applications based on the Avaya Orchestration Designer product. The ideal candidate should possess a strong grasp of technologies such as Avaya Experience Portal, Avaya OD, Core Java, along with a proactive attitude towards adopting new technologies within the ever-evolving open-source community.

In the role of a developer, your primary responsibility will in developing IVR applications for our customer .

About The Responsibilities

  • IVR application development
  • Partner with internal and external teams, understand business and technical requirements.
  • Be responsible for deployments.
  • Participate in design and code reviews .
  • Fix and resolve complex system-level stability or scalability issues.
  • Work under tight deadlines and respond to dynamic technical challenges
  • Develop and maintain documentation for the design and solution

About You

  • You have a passion for building software and solving hard technical problems.
  • You’re someone who wants to see the impact of your work making a difference every day.
  • You have a proven track record of professional software delivery using Avaya OD , Java , Web services integration , Database integration.
  • You have got hands on experience on Avaya Experience Portal
  • You are well versed in programming languages such as Java and IDE environments such as Eclipse etc. Should be well versed with Java frameworks .
  • You’re able to interact with a diverse group of people, both technical and non-technical
  • You’re able to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation, delivering according to a schedule, and to mentor and motivate others to do the same

Experience

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years’ experience in developing Complex IVR applications.
  • Experience working on a distributed team.

Skills & Competencies

  • Fluent English speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Linux and Linux-like environments
  • Experience with Spring Boot, Java Web Applications,
  • Avaya Experience Portal
  • Avaya Voice Portal application development .
  • Creation of complex IVR call flows. Integration with Web services, Databases , reading xml files and config files.
  • POM application development
  • Integration with Relational databases ( Oracle or Microsoft SQL )
  • Well versed in to programming languages such as Java and IDE environments such as Eclipse etc. Should be well versed with Java frameworks .
  • Web services integration.

Expertise with build automation tools like Jenkins, Bamboo or Gitlab; Experience with source control tools like Bitbucket, GitHub

  • Experience analyzing logs, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum)

Experience

4 - 8 Years of Experience

Education

Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
