Job Description

A large international commodity trading company is seeking a senior Java developer to join its expanding internal software development team. The role involves developing high-performance, reliable software for a trading platform. Responsibilities include implementing business functionality, developing underlying technological foundations, and collaborating with business analysts, QA, and project management. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth Java knowledge, experience with JSON and JMS, proficiency in GIT/GITLAB, and SQL knowledge. The work encompasses a wide range of tasks, requiring the creation of well-designed, robust, and testable solutions. Analyzing existing platform modules and their integration techniques is also part of the role. The position is remote and based in Serbia.

Must have:

In-depth JAVA knowledge
Experience with JSON, JMS
Proficient in GIT/GITLAB usage
Knowledge of SQL
Writing performance-oriented and highly reliable software
Delivering results within project constraints
Meeting quality requirements
Collaborating with various teams

Good to have:

Project description

Our client, a large international commodity trading company, is expanding its internal software development team and looking for JAVA software developer with in-depth knowledge and experience in implementation of performance oriented and highly reliable software, with good knowledge of technological aspects as well as willingness to understand commodity trading business. We expect new-joiners to work on a fairly wide range of tasks: from implementation of business functionality to underlying technological foundations development; we also expect them to come up with well thought-out, simple, robust, testable, and elegant solution.

Responsibilities

writing performance oriented and highly reliable software;

delivering results within project's recourses and time constraints;

meeting quality requirements;

working closely with business analysts, QA, and project management teams;

analyzing trading platform modules, their implementation and integration technics.

Skills

Must have

In-depth JAVA knowledge
