Job Description

This role involves building a new middleware platform connecting front-office bank systems with a big data storage solution. Responsibilities include understanding and maintaining core applications, partnering with solution architects for strategic deployments, designing and optimizing Kafka-based data pipelines, guiding implementation teams, ensuring integration with existing infrastructure, contributing to the architecture roadmap, and enhancing team productivity. The ideal candidate will have extensive Java and Kafka experience within the finance sector, demonstrating a proven ability to deliver high-performing, secure, and stable code.

Must have:

8+ years Java experience
3+ years Kafka experience
3+ years Lead experience
Solid Core Java knowledge
Proficiency in Kafka
Proven experience as Java Developer in finance
Ability to produce high-quality code

Project description

We are going to build a new platform that will act as a middleware to connect frontoffice bank systems with bigdata storage solution

Responsibilities

Understand our core applications, actively maintain and develop them, while partnering with solution architects to enable and drive deployment of strategic solutions

Utilizing your expertise in event streaming and messaging systems, particularly Kafka, to design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and communication channels within our technology solutions

guide implementation teams to successful delivery

make sure technical solutions are integrated into our heterogeneous and highly automated infrastructure

Contribute to the Architecture/Design Roadmap

Focusing on increasing the productivity of the team in terms of frequency of releases

Skills

Must have

8+ years of java experience with minimum 3 years of experience with Kafka

3+ years of Lead experience

Solid Core Java knowledge, largely backend

Proficiency in event streaming and messaging systems, with a strong emphasis on Kafka

Proven commercial experience as an Java Developer, ideally within the finance sector

Proven delivery of high performing IT solutions

Ability to produce secure, stable and good performing code

Nice to have
