Job Description

This Junior Accounting Internship at Maximum Entertainment in Saint-Ouen, France, involves managing accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and supporting month-end processes. Responsibilities include invoice processing, vendor payment preparation, customer payment posting, statement issuance, and assisting with audits. The ideal candidate possesses experience in Procure to Pay and Order to Cash, familiarity with accounting software (NetSuite preferred), and strong communication and teamwork skills. Proficiency in French and English is required, along with advanced Excel skills.

Sous la responsabilité du Responsable Comptable, nous recherchons un(e) Stagiaire Comptabilité Junior adaptable, enthousiaste et autonome pour rejoindre l’équipe financière en France. Ce poste aura la responsabilité de la gestion des comptes fournisseurs et clients, ainsi que des tâches de rapprochement liées au processus de clôture mensuelle.

Ce poste est à plein temps, sur site dans notre bureau à Saint-Ouen, France.

Vos responsabilités :
• Enregistrement et codification des factures fournisseurs et rapprochement des relevés fournisseurs
• Préparation des paiements aux fournisseurs et conseils aux fournisseurs
• Enregistrement et affectation des paiements clients
• Émission des relevés clients et suivi des paiements en retard
• Rapprochement quotidien des comptes bancaires
• Soutien à la fonction financière au quotidien avec d'autres tâches ponctuelles
• Support à l’équipe financière lors du processus d’audit
• Respect des politiques et réglementations financières
• Autres tâches assignées

Profil recherché :
• Expérience dans un environnement Procure to Pay et Order to Cash
• Connaissance des logiciels de comptabilité pour modules intégrés ; une expérience avec NetSuite serait un atout
• Désir de se développer et de grandir avec une attitude positive et dynamique
• Capacité à travailler en équipe mais aussi à travailler de manière autonome sous supervision
• Confiance dans les relations avec des personnes de différents niveaux et excellentes compétences en communication
• Maîtrise professionnelle du français et de l’anglais
• Maîtrise de MS Office, y compris des compétences avancées en Excel

Reporting to the Senior Accountant, we are looking for an adaptable, enthusiastic, self-motivated Junior Accounts Intern to join the finance team in France. This role will take responsibility for Accounts Payable and Receivable in addition to providing reconciliation duties relating to the month end process.

This role is full-time, onsite at our office in Saint Ouen, France.

In this role, you will:

Coding and booking of vendor invoices and reconciliation of vendor statements.
Preparing vendor payment runs and advice to vendors.
Posting and allocation of customer payments
Issue of customer statements and chasing overdue payments
Daily reconciliation of bank accounts
Supporting the day-to-day finance function with other ad-hoc tasks.
Support the finance team with the Audit process.
Comply with all financial policies and regulations.
Other duties as assigned.

Ideally, you have:

Experience in Procure to Pay and Order to Cash environment.
Knowledge of accounting software packages for integrated modules; NetSuite experience would be an advantage.
Eagerness to grow and develop with a ‘can do’ and ‘will do’ attitude.
A team player but also able to work independently, under supervision.
Confidence in working with people at varying levels and with excellent communication skills.
French/English professional proficiency.
Proficiency with MS Office to include advanced Excel skills.
