Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Digital Media, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Graphic Design Software: Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.), Sketch, Figma, or similar design tools.
Basic Knowledge of Web Design: Familiarity with HTML/CSS, responsive design, and basic web design principles is a plus.
Strong Typography Skills: Understanding of typography principles and how to effectively apply them in design work.
Knowledge of Print and Digital Design: Experience in both print and digital media, with the ability to adapt designs for various platforms and formats (e.g., social media, websites, print materials).
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in graphic design or related field, either through internships, freelance work, or previous positions.
Portfolio showcasing a range of design work, including branding, digital, and print projects, demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
Personal Attributes:
Creativity: A strong eye for design with a passion for creative problem-solving.
Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure that designs are visually appealing, accurate, and meet all technical specifications.
Time Management: Ability to work on multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and grow, with the ability to adjust to changes in design trends, software, and client needs.
Communication Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with team members, clients, and other departments to understand and execute design requirements.
Desirable (But Not Required):
Experience with Motion Graphics or Video Editing: Familiarity with After Effects, Premiere Pro, or similar tools for creating animations and video content.
Knowledge of UI/UX Design Principles: Understanding of user interface and user experience principles for web and mobile design.
Understanding of Brand Identity: Knowledge of how to maintain and develop cohesive brand guidelines and apply them to all design projects.
