Job Description

This Junior L&D Specialist (Onboarding Trainer) role at Testronic focuses on onboarding new hires, both generally and technically within the FQA service line. Responsibilities include updating onboarding documentation based on feedback, collaborating with team leads and HR on training needs, managing the internal learning platform (with the Senior L&D Specialist), and conducting workshops. The ideal candidate has at least one year of manual testing experience (game testing is a plus), is a passionate gamer, possesses strong communication and presentation skills, and has proficiency in MS Office. Additional duties include attending meetings, maintaining training records, and assisting HR as needed.

If you used to be a QA tester, but took a test case arrow to the knee, here's your chance to customise new players in the game of video game testing, by taking on a role of our Junior L&D Specialist (Onboarding Trainer)!

Main quests

  • Performing general onboarding for new hires and technical onboarding for our FQA service line;
  • Updating onboarding documentation regularly, based on the feedback gathered from trainees and Team Leads;
  • Collaborating with Team Leads, HR team, and the Senior L&D specialist on defining training needs, learning solutions and training organisation (such as logistics and topic research);
  • Helping the Senior L&D Specialist in our internal learning platform's management and conducting workshops according to the departmental needs and plans.

Side quests

  • Attending regular L&D and HR meetings, and conducting a professional manner at all times, and via all communication channels;
  • Demonstrating a positive "Can do” attitude and continuously improving methodology across all aspects of this role;
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely implementation and maintenance of training records, and a safe and healthy environment by complying to company standards and legal requirements;
  • Assisting the HR team with various tasks upon request

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in manual testing (game testing is a strong plus);
  • Passionate and experienced gamer;
  • Upper-intermediate or advanced English skills (B2 or above level);
  • Solid MS office package skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word);
  • Strong presentation (written and oral) and communication skills;
