The Junior Payroll Accountant will assist the Lead Payroll Accountant in all payroll-related tasks. Responsibilities include processing sick leave, vacations, and other payroll entries; consulting employees on payroll calculations; communicating with employees to clarify uncertainties; preparing employee reference notes; submitting employee movement reports to Lithuanian tax authorities; and ensuring accurate tax calculations compliant with Lithuanian tax law. The ideal candidate will have a professional accounting education (3rd or 4th-year accounting students are welcome), strong Lithuanian and English language skills, excellent computer skills, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work accurately and effectively within a team.
