Responsibilities

Support Technical Designer

Attend fittings to review overall fit, balance, and details of garment through production

Measure all samples to make sure they arrive on spec and as requested

Self manages workload based on calendar due dates and production deadlines. Knows how to prioritize with a sense of urgency.

Develop clear and comprehensive tech packages for factories

Correspond with factories/vendors to ensure all reorder styles are within spec requirements including communicating all fit comments

Troubleshoot as needed with overseas vendors to explain construction and fit issues by any means necessary

Work with Design to ensure fit, balance, and aesthetics throughout the pre-production process, within the calendar deadline

Keep organization/filing of tech packages for each collection

Requirements

Degree in Fashion Design, Tech, or related.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in apparel industry including construction experience with full knowledge of production process, and timelines for Woven’s + Cut and Sew Knits product categories.

Knowledge of silhouettes, fabrication, sewing techniques, trim and technical knowledge of fabric and construction.

Ability to analyze workload and plan accordingly with exceptional follow-up skill.

Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, and Word.

Extreme attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Multitasking - Ability to multitask and effectively prioritize workload and tasks

Strong work ethic, able to self-motivate, work with cross functional teams when necessary and make call outs that displays efficiency for the teams and future endeavors.

Please note the annual salary for this full-time, exempt position is $62,400.
