Job Description

As a Junior UX Researcher, you will support UX Research projects, including scripting surveys, cleaning data, performing basic data analysis, and creating reports. You will participate in game playthroughs before playtests, moderate playtests, and take notes. You will also support consumer research projects when needed, such as scripting surveys, data cleaning, and preparing reports. You will need understanding of user research methods, ability to analyze data and draw conclusions, adapt to new tools, and proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel. Additional responsibilities include collaboration, communication and a passion for video games. This role is ideal for those eager to learn and improve continuously within the industry.

Job Description

Your daily tasks:

  • Supporting day-to-day planning and execution of UX Research projects.
  • Scripting playtest surveys in dedicated survey tool.
  • Data cleaning prior to analysis (survey exports, clearing tables).
  • Basic data analysis (e.g. Excel pivot tables).
  • Supporting playtest report creation (e.g. transferring graphs from Excel to presentations and maintaining color-coding).
  • Participation in game playthroughs before playtests (inc. managing hardware/software setups, verification of known issues etc.)
  • Playtest moderation and note-taking for the purpose of implementing insights into research reports.
  • Additionally : supporting consumer research projects as/when needed (scripting surveys, data cleaning, basic data analysis, coding open ended questions, preparing research reports etc.).

Qualifications

  • Understanding of user research ideally within software and digital experiences - at least basic knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
  • Ability to select appropriate research method and sample for the research or business problem at hand.
  • Capability of analyzing qualitative and quantitative data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
  • Technically savvy : quickly adapting new tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite with a heavy emphasis on Excel.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Proactivity and initiative to solve problems without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Determination and persistence when facing obstacles.
  • Eagerness to learn and improve continuously within our tools, techniques, and industry practices.
  • Very good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good command of English.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in commercial projects related to games.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
  • Interest and/or prior experience within consumer research area.
