The Key Account Manager will lead the commercial relationship and deliver business results for two strategic retail accounts. This role ensures the execution of the commercial strategy, the achievement of net sales and profitability objectives, and the successful implementation of promotional and in-store initiatives. The KAM serves as the primary point of contact with the client, aligning internal resources to drive growth and operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing commercial relationships, achieving sales targets, leading Joint Business Plans, implementing promotional plans, monitoring client performance, optimizing commercial investments, collaborating with various teams, analyzing data, tracking agreements, conducting business reviews, coordinating in-store execution, identifying risks, ensuring issue resolution, and adhering to company policies.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in Key Account Management.
  • Experience with self-service retailers like Soriana or H-E-B is highly valued.
  • Understanding of Gross To Net and promotional mechanics.
  • Fluent in Spanish; intermediate to advanced English preferred.
Good to have:
  • Postgraduate degree in the commercial area.

Propósito del Puesto Responsable de liderar la relación comercial y entregar resultados de negocio para estas dos cuentas estratégicas de retail. Este rol asegura la ejecución de la estrategia comercial, el logro de los objetivos de ventas netas y rentabilidad, y la implementación exitosa de iniciativas promocionales y en tienda. El KAM actúa como el principal punto de contacto con el cliente, alineando recursos internos para impulsar el crecimiento y la excelencia operativa.

Responsabilidades:

  • Gestionar la relación comercial con Soriana y H-E-B, actuando como el principal punto de contacto.
  • Entregar objetivos de ventas netas, volumen y rentabilidad para cada cliente.
  • Liderar la ejecución de Planes de Negocio Conjuntos (JBP), alineando prioridades del cliente y objetivos internos.
  • Implementar planes promocionales, programas de visibilidad y lanzamientos de nuevos productos con excelencia.
  • Monitorear el desempeño del cliente, tendencias de sell-in y sell-out, y ajustar planes según sea necesario.
  • Optimizar inversiones comerciales (GTN) y presupuestos de A&P para asegurar el ROI y una ejecución efectiva.
  • Trabajar estrechamente con Planificación de Demanda para mejorar la precisión de pronósticos y niveles de servicio.
  • Colaborar con Marketing Comercial para desarrollar planes de activación personalizados.
  • Analizar datos y generar insights para apoyar la toma de decisiones y negociaciones.
  • Rastrear el cumplimiento de acuerdos, políticas de precios y términos de contrato.
  • Realizar revisiones de negocio regulares con clientes y partes interesadas internas.
  • Coordinar con equipos de Ventas de Campo para asegurar la ejecución en tienda y el cumplimiento de planogramas.
  • Identificar riesgos y oportunidades dentro de la cuenta y proponer acciones correctivas.
  • Asegurar la resolución oportuna de problemas operativos (logística, precios, disponibilidad).
  • Mantener plena adherencia a las políticas comerciales de la empresa y controles internos.
  • Representar el canal en reuniones comerciales internas y ciclos de planificación.
  • Contribuir al desarrollo de la cultura y valores como parte del equipo comercial, sirviendo como modelo a seguir para el WOW de Haleon.
  • Cumplir con las responsabilidades definidas en el Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo (SG-SST) de Haleon, participando proactivamente en todas las actividades delineadas para alcanzar los objetivos establecidos por la empresa, y cumpliendo con normas y procedimientos para controlar los riesgos asociados con las actividades laborales, asegurando una atención integral de la salud.

Educación: Graduado universitario en ciencias administrativas, se recomienda si tiene un posgrado en área comercial.

Calificaciones:

  • Licenciatura en Negocios, Marketing o campo relacionado.
  • 3-5 años de experiencia en Gestión de Cuentas Clave o roles comerciales orientados al cliente.
  • Experiencia previa con minoristas de autoservicio (especialmente Soriana o H-E-B) es altamente valorada.
  • Comprensión de Gross To Net, impulsores de P&L y mecánicas promocionales.
  • Fluidez en español; inglés intermedio a avanzado preferido.
