The KYC Analyst will perform day-to-day KYC processes, monitor verification activities, ensure compliance with KYC/AML/Responsible Gaming regulations, handle escalations, process cash-out requests, monitor payment systems, investigate issues, collaborate with the VIP team, verify member documents, act as a liaison, assist with player onboarding, and maintain strong problem-solving and collaborative skills. The role requires experience in online gambling or banking, familiarity with specific software (Geocomply, LexisNexis, Sharepoint), Excel skills, risk management knowledge, and excellent customer service abilities. Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.

 With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, IL, and a land-based casino near the Nittany Mall in State College, PA, Bally's will own and/or manage 16 casinos across 11 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana. It shares trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "BALY".

Well, what about the team?

You will be instrumental at continuing to strengthen our KYC team that verifies players identities and mitigates fraud losses. Our team operates like many others: we verify identities, validate and review fraudulent activity and assist players and team members with various queries. The team reports to the Payments and KYC manager. Our team operates primarily on Eastern time.

Please note that this position has access to customers details – therefore requires employees to be able to obtain and maintain licensing in all jurisdictions Bally’s operates in. So, what will you be doing?

  • This role will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day processes within the KYC Team
  • Monitoring and action all ingoing and outgoing verification activity
  • Ensuring with the KYC team, ensure group ‘Know Your Customer’ (KYC), AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Responsible Gaming strategy is performed in line with regulatory compliance requirements
  • Dealing with incoming KYC related escalations from Customer Service
  • Processing member Cash Out requests in line with Group AML and KYC policies
  • Monitoring 3rd party payment systems to identify potential technical issues
  • Probleming solving and investigation of day-to-day issues
  • Closing communication with VIP team to ensure that all fraud, KYC, EDD, risk & AML requirements are satisfied for high value player relationships
  • Verifying member identity documents for multiple states & jurisdictions
  • Acting as a liaison between members and internal Management & Technical Teams & 3rd party supplier contacts
    Assist player onboarding during the KYC process

And what are we looking for?

  • Experience troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Collaborative attitude and strong work ethic
  • Experience in online gambling or the banking industry
  • Experience with Geocomply, LexisNexis and Sharepoint
  • Experience or Intermediate skill in Excel/Office
  • Experience of risk management, internet industry and online payment mechanisms
  • Experience customer support/dealing with customer queries
  • Experience in document review/verification
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to learn quickly from mistakes
  • Demonstrate fluency in both English and Spanish (preferred)

Salary: $54,000 to $58,000 USD
