Job Description

AECOM, a global leader in engineering and infrastructure consulting, is looking for a passionate Landscape Architect to join our multidisciplinary team. At AECOM, we help build a better world by designing sustainable and innovative projects that improve the quality of life for communities.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design of landscape developments for parks, public squares, green corridors, municipal infrastructure, etc.
• Collaborate with architects, urban planners, engineers, and other professionals to develop integrated and context-sensitive solutions
• Contribute to the production of plans, renderings, presentations, and technical documents using software like AutoCAD, Adobe suite, SketchUp, or other modeling tools
• Support the preparation of specifications, estimates, and other deliverables required for projects
• Participate in coordination with municipalities, clients, and stakeholders
• Ensure the integration of sustainability, resilience, and regulatory compliance principles in development proposals

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• University degree in landscape architecture
• Experience gained during internships or jobs in a landscape architecture, urban planning or engineering firm
• Knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, Adobe suite, SketchUp, etc.)
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Good written and oral communication in French

Desirable Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in 3D modeling or rendering tools (e.g., Lumion, Rhino, Enscape)
• Interest in sustainable development, nature-based solutions, and innovation in urban design
• Knowledge of municipal or provincial planning regulations (asset)
• Good understanding of English (asset for pan-Canadian or international projects)
