Explore your personal ambitions:
Apart from working on existing topics and practice areas within the Firm, the candidate will be supported to explore and develop new topics or areas of practice within the Firm which they may have an interest in or a passion for.
No two days are the same! Nevertheless, some day-to-day tasks may include:
Having conversations, discussions and various interactions with the Firm’s clients, as part of our client service team in the context of different workstreams
Devising, implementing, and actively contributing in any way to the formulation of solutions to client issues
Conducting timely and precise research into specific areas of law
Contributing to the Firm’s professional events, marketing material, thought leadership and business development initiatives
Attendance to internal and external relevant events
Drafting and preparing any written client deliverables
Keeping abreast with changes to legislation, particularly in relation to corporate and commercial laws and compliance obligations
The successful candidate would:
Hold a university degree in Law
Be proficient and fluent in written and verbal English. Additional languages will be given value
Be organised and able to perform in demanding circumstances
Be career oriented and have an ambition to develop progressively within the Firm
Be able to work effectively within a team with the energy and time dedication which the profession demands
Have a professional mindset and excellent communication skills
Previous experience in the corporate, commercial and financial services practice areas will be considered an asset, but not a requirement.
