We are looking for a lead 3D Animator who can interpret concept art into its three-dimensional realization and creates moving images using digital models via CGI software. The Lead Animator brings an imagined universe and the characters that inhabit it to life. Everything within frame has scope, weight and meaning. You will lead the animators need to be able to visualize new worlds into being.

About the Role

Create and manage digital assets
Liaising with animators and concept artists regarding the requirements of the project
Identifying key scenes and sequences
Transforming storyboards into animated sequences
Recreating real-world environments and layouts
Animating characters, creatures, props, vehicles, weapons, objects, etc
Developing animation composites
Calculating and entering algorithms for final renders
Amending artwork as per instruction from designers and developers
Working with programmers on software and design issues
Adapting to software upgrades and stay up to date with new technologies
Applying motion capture to animation

About You

Expert level knowledge of 3D design and animation tools such as Unreal Engine, Maya, Zbrush and Substance Painter/Designer
Technical diploma in 3D animation, game arts, or a degree in arts and design - a huge plus
Character creator 4 - a huge plus
Good communication skills
A good instinct for timing, movement, editing cuts
Training in animation, computer graphics, or graphic design
Understanding of acting techniques, cinematography, interactive storytelling and graphic arts
Understanding of movement of limbs, the effect of weight, and the behavior of skin and flesh
Knowledge of film and animation genres, and ability to create within their styles
Advanced concept of visual language - perspective, point of view, proportion, color, composition, framing, etc
Basic knowledge of anatomy, how humans and animals move
High-level knowledge of lighting, shadows, and textures
Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines
