Job Description
As a Lead Animator, your role will be to manage, plan, and execute both 2D or 3D character and prop animations as required by the project. The Lead Animator will lead the creation of storyboards, animation, visual effects, and artwork to meet design goals and support the animation style. They will collaborate with the Art Director and art team to develop the animation style, manage a small team of artists, and assist with special projects as needed.
Must have:
- 5 years experience as an Animator in a high-tech environment.
- 1 year experience in a leadership role.
- Experienced with all aspects of 3D animation.
Good to have:
- Experience in 2D animation/motion design preferred.
- Must be a strong artist/illustrator.
- MMO Experience.
- Knowledge of Unity.
- Experience managing team.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
Develops, and leads the creation of storyboards, animation, visual effects and artwork to meet design goals and support the animation style
Works with the Art Director and art team to develop an animation style for the project.
Manage a small team of cross discipline artists
Maintains flexibility to assist with special projects, as needed
Requirements:
At least 5 years experience as an Animator in a high-tech environment, including some experience in gamesrequired
At least 1 year experience in a leadership role required
Experienced with all aspects of 3D animation: modeling, rigging, lighting, texturing, animationrequired
Experience in 2D animation/motion design preferred
Must be a strong artist/illustrator
MMO Experience
Knwoledge of Unity
Experience managing team
