As a Lead Business Development and Partnership at Hike, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying and executing high-value partnerships. This includes building and managing relationships with partners like OEMs, payment gateways, and app stores. You'll develop and implement marketing strategies, optimize costs, and advocate for both internal and external stakeholders. The role involves managing day-to-day partner interactions, establishing processes, and researching new business prospects globally. Collaboration with engineering, product, and marketing teams is crucial to build consensus on partnerships and business opportunities. Must have:
  • 6+ years of partner management experience in a consumer mobile internet company
  • Build and manage high-value, long-lasting partnerships and business relationships
  • Set up processes around partner management from the ground up
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Think strategically about complex issues
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile apps ecosystem

Skills & Experience We're Looking For ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ’ป

  • Minimum of 6 years of deep partner management experience, preferably in a consumer mobile internet company | Top Talent in Every Role
  • Experience in the Real Money Gaming (RMG) space is a big plus | Be Insatiably Curious & Keep Improving
  • Proven track record of building high-value, long-lasting partnerships and business relationships | Build & Make Magic
  •  Build and manage deep relationships with external partners, including OEMs, payment gateway providers, and key contacts at app stores like Playstore and AppStore  | Build & Make Magic
  • Strong experience in setting up processes around partner management from the ground up | Owner not a Renter
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills | Customer Obsession
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans | Think Deeply & Exercise Good Judgement
  • Deep knowledge of the mobile apps ecosystem, with fluency in common business models and app development practices | Be Insatiably Curious & Keep Improving
  • Hands-on approach with a focus on business support and practical execution | Build & Make Magic

  • Strategy โ†’ Target the right partners and identify untapped opportunities to drive strategic growth and maximize impact.
  • Strategy โ†’ Source, conduct due diligence, and execute high-value strategic partnerships that align with business objectives and bring value to the ecosystem
  • Strategy โ†’ Craft and execute a targeted marketing strategy to position Hike as the partner of choice, highlighting key strengths and collaboration opportunities.
  • Strategy โ†’ Optimize costs, capitalise on cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and build deep, lasting partner relationships to drive growth.
  • Strategy โ†’ Proactively advocate for both internal and external stakeholders, pushing issues toward resolution  
  • Operations โ†’ Manage the day-to-day interactions with partners, resolving any operational issues that arise and maintaining a high level of partner satisfaction
  • Operations โ†’ Establish and optimise processes for managing partnerships, ensuring seamless integration and consistent communication with external partners
  • Operations โ†’ Research and identify new business prospects and partnership opportunities, focusing on global markets
  • Collaboration โ†’ Build consensus across engineering, product, and marketing teams on partnership and business opportunities
