Cricket.com is looking for a DevOps Engineer interested in building performant and highly scalable applications. You will be responsible for architecting and building various mission critical server-side and middleware components, while collaboratively working with the Product, Design and QA teams.

This is an opportunity to be a Cloud Engineer in a high-growth, high-potential startup and to help define the Cloud Engineering practices. The primary focus of this role will be on operational readiness and with the goal of providing 24x7x365 coverage. You will influence product and operational direction across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have experience writing low-latency services and APIs that are fault tolerant and always available. In the process the candidates will become adept at handling large and loosely coupled systems that elegantly scale and span across millions of users.

We are looking for a well-organized, goal-oriented, highly motivated, and effective team member with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and leadership skills.

What We Are Looking For

Bachelor's degree in CSE, EE, CSM, or related technical discipline
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an SRE or a Cloud Engineer
Should have prior experience working with either AWS (Azure or GCP is a plus)
Must be hands-on with tools and technologies like Kubernetes, HELM, and Terraform.
Experience with the scripting languages.
Good understanding of Distributed systems and micro-service-based architectures
Experience with CI/CD practices, Deployment patterns, and relevant toolsets
Strong in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and ArgoCD and expertise in building pipelines
Knowledge of IAM, API gateway (Kong or Ambassador or Traefik), Service Mesh (Istio or consul mesh or linked/conduit), VPC, Subnets, subnet groups, ELB, etc. Infrastructure as code and configuration management with tools like Terraform, Ansible, etc, and GitOps model.
Experience in observability stack (Monitoring, Metrics, Logging, Alerts & Tracing) using Prometheus and Grafana
Good understanding of Networking and OS fundamentals and good debugging skills.
Strong experience with web technologies - Nginx, HAProxy, Apache, Nodejs - - Proven record of infra automation and programming skills in any of these languages - Python, Ruby, Perl, Javascript.
