Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Full stack Developer. This position involves working with stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle, including requirements gathering, architecture definition, and design. The role requires delivering high-quality code, leading validation testing, and supporting implementation activities. The job involves extensive travel as per client and project needs. The candidate must be located near Hartford, CT, and will be part of a team that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and diversity. Responsibilities include designing and implementing Java-based solutions, participating in code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues.

Must have:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
4+ years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Java 11, Spring boot, React or Angular.

Good to have:

5+ years of experience in Core Java 11 and Spring.
5+ years of experience in Spring boot, MVC, Framework.
4+ years experience developing Microservices /Webservices /REST services.
4+ experience PL SQL / Oracle.
Experience working with Unix (basic commands and scripting) and job scheduler Autosys).
3 years of experience in Messaging (JMS) such as MQ/TIBCO/Kafka .
3 years of experience Design Patterns, Team Management and Code Review.
3 years of experience in UI technologies like React JS or Angular 14 & above.
Very good understanding of Java resource, Memory optimization and Caching framework
Proven ability to troubleshoot issues in production including root cause analysis
Experience in Java Multithreading and Microservices architecture is highly desirable
Ability to communicate with business team and translate business requirements into technical requirements
Ability to interact with multiple stake holders at onsite such as DBA, Infrastructure team, Network team, Business, Architecture group
Experience in Devops tools using Maven, Jenkins, GIT Lab/ GIT Hub, TeamCity, Nexus, Terraform, Selenium, Sonar Cube, Fortify.
Exposure to Agile methodology of project execution will be an added advantage .
Understand importance of automated testing and different levels at which these need to be performed-all developers will have to write and implement tests as required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced matrix environment.
Familiarity with security concepts (authentication, authorization, encryption, digital signature), SSL, web service proxies, firewalls and multi-protocol gateways, Secured token Exchanges.

Job Details

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Full stack Developer.
This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Hartford, CT or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in Java 11, Spring boot, React or Angular.

Preferred Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in Core Java 11 and Spring.
At least 5 years of experience in Spring boot, MVC, Framework. Experience with tools like Tools like STS, Intellij etc.
At least 4 experience developing Microservices /Webservices /REST services /SOAP services/JSON/JWT.
At least 4+ experience PL SQL / Oracle.
