Nasdaq Technology is looking for a Lead Technical Consultant with a focus on technical skills, to join Customer Delivery Center in Mumbai, India. If customer success and business growth drive you forward this is the place for you!
As a Lead Consultant, you will play a key role in implementing Calypso solution for global clients. You will play key role delivering technical solution to client, designing overall architecture, integration with various trading, market data platforms and other critical application along with developing bespoke solution

Customer Success is composed of several organizations (Customer Delivery, Cloud Services, Calypso Learning Services, Customer Support, and Customer Success Management) that manage the customer’s journey at Nasdaq

Your role and responsibilities:

In-depth, hands-on involvement directly with customers & team implementing the system, We expect to contribute to strategic initiatives

Identify the implementation gaps and possible mitigations

Strategic Planning & Execution of calypso implementations

Active Client/Stakeholder Engagement during implementation phase

Exhibit technical leadership on projects as well as internally within the department

Experience working in systems or technical analysis, preferably in the capital markets industry.

We work extensively on software including Java, Spring boot, containerization skills, Spring, Swing, JDBC, RMI, J2EE, Linux, Oracle, Postgres, XML, Python, CI/CD tools

Strong GUI and server-side development experience

Excellent! object-oriented analysis, design & development as well as troubleshooting skills 

Knowledge of relational databases and SQL including working experience with Postgres and/or Oracle 

Equal opportunity to get domain experience in developing or implementing software in support of any or all of the following asset classes: credit derivatives, interest rate derivatives, equity derivatives, fixed income, or FX

Experience designing/building front-to-back capital markets trading systems will be especially valuable

We expect you to have


At least 15 to 18 years of experience, preferably in capital markets domain

Excellent interpersonal skills. The person in this role will spend significant amounts of time working closely with customers as well as training them, and patience will be key to success

Willingness and ability to travel as required

Pro-activeness and task ownership skills are a must

Ability to multi-task and the ability to quickly transition as priorities change to meet demands

Experience in Strategic Planning & Execution

Experience in Calypso product delivery management !

It would be great if you

  • PMI or other project management related degree
  • Fair understanding about capital market and financial technology
  • Have exposure to Cloud Platform Services in Azure & AWS
  • Have exposure to AI and ML models
