As a Product Engineer, you will act as the "voice of the customer" within the Spectre R&D group. Your responsibilities will include debugging customer simulation problems, defining specifications for new simulation features and bug fixes, collaborating with R&D on implementation and testing, maintaining the customer test case suite, supporting customer evaluations and product roll-out, and managing product documentation, demonstrations, and training, as well as technical and white papers. You will play a key role in shaping the product and contributing to market success. The role requires a strong background in circuit design and simulation.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join the Spectre development group. The Spectre group has built state-of-the-art simulation technology which is the standard in circuit simulation. The technology is constantly enhanced, and new technologies and features are added to strengthen Spectre’s leading position in circuit simulation. As a Product Engineer you will shape our product and contribute to our market success.

As a Product Engineer you are the "voice of the customer" within the Spectre R&D group. You are debugging customer simulation problems, defining specifications for new simulation features and bug fixes, working together with R&D on implementation and test, maintaining the customer test case suite, supporting customer evaluations and product roll-out, and are responsible for product documentation, demonstrations and trainings, as well as technical and white papers.

Qualifications:

  • The qualified candidate is required to have strong background in circuit design and simulation. 

  • MSEE with 5+ years of experience in circuit design and simulation is required; PhD with 5 years preferred.

The annual salary range for California is $114,800 to $213,200. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
