Job Description

As a Lead Product Validation Engineer: Quality Assurance, you will be part of the Jasper Research and Development team in the SVG group in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. You will develop and execute test plans, write RTL sources for testing, implement automated tests, analyze requirements, assist with specification feedback, identify and track defects, develop testing tools, improve testing processes, provide technical leadership, and mentor team members. Cadence is seeking a motivated individual to contribute to the Jasper Formal Verification Platform.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's in computer science or engineering.
  • 4+ years in Quality Assurance/Product Validation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Experience with software testing and automation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Knowledge of programming languages/scripts.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment.
  • Good Version Control knowledge.
  • Great interpersonal and leadership skills.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge/Experience in EDA and VLSI design.
  • Experience with scripting environments (Tcl or Python).
  • Knowledge/Experience with Formal verification/simulation.
  • Proven technical leadership experience.

Job Description:

  • Developing and executing test plans for the exploration of a variety of features.
  • Writing different styles of RTL sources to address specific testing scenarios.
  • Implement automated tests for the various features of Jasper, our formal verification product.
  • Analysis of functional and non-functional requirements
  • Assisting the research & development team with specification feedbacks.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and enhancements.
  • Develop testing tools to maintain our software with the highest quality.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Technical leadership on software quality best practices
  • Provide mentorship for less experienced team members

Requirements:

  • Complete bachelor’s in computer science or computer Engineering or related fields.
  • +4 year of experience in Quality Assurance/Product Validation
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills;
  • Experience with software testing, regression testing and automated testing tools;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English;
  • Knowledge of programming language/scripts.
  • Knowledge of Unix/Linux environment
  • Good Version Control knowledge
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Good leadership skills

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge/Experience EDA and VLSI design, including Verilog and VHDL languages.
  • Experience with scripting environments - either Tcl or Python.
  • Knowledge/Experience with Formal verification and/or simulation.
  • Proven technical leadership experience
