Playrix seeks a Lead Technical Designer to manage a team and optimize UI development. Must have 2+ years of UI experience in game engines, proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, and understanding of C#/C++/Python/JS/Lua. Git and XML/JSON experience are required.

Lead Technical Designer

Tasks

People management: responsible for development, hiring/firing, team evaluation;
Develop processes within teams (both at the team level and at the level of the entire technical design direction on the project);
Design review and decomposition of new tasks;
Create complex windows with large amounts of logic;
Optimize the UI development pipeline from layout to game;
Create architectural solutions at the start of new developments;
Participate in creating new tools to improve the quality and convenience of development.

Our own cross-platform VSO engine;
C++/Python/Lua;
Adobe Photoshop.

Requirements

1+ years of experience managing a team of at least 2 people;
2+ years of experience working with UI in game engines and editors (Unity, UE, CryEngine);
Understanding of the basics of programming C#/C++/Python/JS/Lua;
Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop or other graphic editors: cutting UI, working with vector graphics, layer effects, bulk export of files;
Knowledgeable about and comfortable using Git;
Experience creating xml/json, understanding of structure;
Fluency in Russian and reading proficiency in English (professional literature).

Preferred

Animation skills (Animate, Spine).
