Saviynt is hiring smart and passionate individuals interested in writing and technology to
join our Product Documentation team. The Lead Technical Writer plays a critical role in writing and presenting Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts clearly and concisely for on-prem and cloud-based enterprise-grade.

WHAT YOU BRING

    •  10-15 years of relevant technical writing experience
    • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/English Literature/Engineering
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong customer orientation
    • Ability to quickly understand IAM concepts and present them as easily comprehensible structured documents
    • Possess strong problem-solving and project leadership skills to effectively track and manage documentation assignments in a deadline-driven environment
    • Knowledge of the documentation process, including writing, editing, graphics, production, Help authoring, and information design
    • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
    • Experience with single-sourcing tools (such as MadCap Flare), Postman, Jira, and Confluence
    • Flexible in terms of work hours to meet business objectives

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    • Collaborate with product managers, knowledge engineers, developers, and quality engineers to understand the product and develop high-quality documentation.
    • Learn the product functionality through interviews with subject matter experts, personal use, and experimentation.
    • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current trends in technical communication.
    • Develop product documentation, including online help, integration guides, REST API guides, tutorials, and release notes for different audience groups. 
    • Document solution-oriented use cases and scenarios for features that help customers better understand the product.
    • Work with team members to complete projects and assigned tasks within the required timelines.
    • Review documentation for structure, content, technical accuracy, and style.
    • Analyze customer feedback on the use of documentation and prepare, deliver, and follow up with improvements.
    • Guide and mentor junior writers.
    • Propose initiatives/innovative documentation strategies to improve documentation processes, standards, and quality.

    • Desired Skills and Experience
    • Accomplishments in technical writing, such as awards/achievements an added advantage
    • Experience in using Agile methodologies
    • Knowledge of IAM and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts
    • Experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
