Saviynt is hiring smart and passionate individuals interested in writing and technology to
join our Product Documentation team. The Lead Technical Writer plays a critical role in writing and presenting Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts clearly and concisely for on-prem and cloud-based enterprise-grade.
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10-15 years of relevant technical writing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/English Literature/Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer orientation
- Ability to quickly understand IAM concepts and present them as easily comprehensible structured documents
- Possess strong problem-solving and project leadership skills to effectively track and manage documentation assignments in a deadline-driven environment
- Knowledge of the documentation process, including writing, editing, graphics, production, Help authoring, and information design
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Experience with single-sourcing tools (such as MadCap Flare), Postman, Jira, and Confluence
- Flexible in terms of work hours to meet business objectives
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Collaborate with product managers, knowledge engineers, developers, and quality engineers to understand the product and develop high-quality documentation.
- Learn the product functionality through interviews with subject matter experts, personal use, and experimentation.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of current trends in technical communication.
- Develop product documentation, including online help, integration guides, REST API guides, tutorials, and release notes for different audience groups.
- Document solution-oriented use cases and scenarios for features that help customers better understand the product.
- Work with team members to complete projects and assigned tasks within the required timelines.
- Review documentation for structure, content, technical accuracy, and style.
- Analyze customer feedback on the use of documentation and prepare, deliver, and follow up with improvements.
- Guide and mentor junior writers.
- Propose initiatives/innovative documentation strategies to improve documentation processes, standards, and quality.
- Accomplishments in technical writing, such as awards/achievements an added advantage
- Experience in using Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of IAM and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) concepts
- Experience with any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
