The Lead Unity Engineer will lead a team of professionals developing a game for Apple Arcade. This role involves designing and implementing gameplay features, collaborating with architects, managing tasks, optimizing app performance, and conducting code reviews. The engineer will also be responsible for efficient releases and reducing integration overhead. The role requires strong communication skills and collaboration with the customer team.

Must Have:
- 5+ years of Unity development experience
- Experience leading game system implementation
- Experience developing multiplayer 2D/3D games on Unity Engine (2020)
- Experience integrating game systems with backend services on cloud platforms
- Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD tools
- Experience in performance optimization and debugging
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Upper-Intermediate English

We are looking for a Lead Unity Engineer with great leadership skills to take over a team of great professionals who are working on developing a game for Apple Arcade. You’ll need to work on a multiplayer network application that runs on all kinds of Apple devices.
Responsibilities:
- Own gameplay feature design and drive implementation of robust, optimal solutions
- Partner with Lead architects to establish clear design and translate the scope of work for the team
- Support scheduling, planning, and delegating of tasks amongst team members.
- Manage releases efficiently, reduce integration and communication overheads
- Find ways to improve and optimize app performance
- Conduct code reviews
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Unity development
- Experience leading teams to implement game systems
- Prior Experience developing multiplayer 2D/3D games on Unity Engine (2020)
- Experience integrating game systems with backend services built on cloud platforms such as AWS
- Familiar with DevOps methodologies, and working with CI/CD toolset such as GitHub, Jenkins, etc
- Experience in performance optimization and debugging
- Experience with VR
- Strong communication and organizational skills. We are looking for a developer who will collaborate with the customer team
- English - Upper-Intermediate
