Job Description

As a Legal Intern, you will gain hands-on experience on the legal team. You will work closely with team members, supporting legal tasks, research, administrative duties, and client interactions. This internship is designed to help develop a foundational understanding of legal practice and prepare for a successful career in law. The intern will be responsible for legal research, summarizing findings, drafting and preparing legal documents, proofreading, handling calls and emails, and providing administrative assistance. The work will involve managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing case files.
Must Have:
  • Strong interest in business law with a desire for experience.
  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited law school program.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

As a Legal Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience on the legal team. This internship is designed to help you develop a foundational understanding of legal practice and prepare you for a successful career in law. This position is onsite in Moscow, Idaho only; remote is unavailable for this role.


Major Responsibilities:
  • Strong interest in business law with a desire to gain hands-on experience in a corporate legal environment
  • Assist in legal research by locating relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents.
  • Summarize research findings and present them to supervising attorneys.
  • Draft and prepare legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence.
  • Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
  • Handle phone calls, emails, and correspondence, routing inquiries to the appropriate staff.
  • Provide administrative assistance, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and organizing case files.


Education and Experience:
  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited law school program.
  • Strong interest in pursuing a legal career and a solid understanding of basic legal concepts.
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
