Job Description

Sword Health is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Licensing & Credentialing Coordinator to support Physical Therapists (PTs) throughout the licensing and credentialing process. This role is crucial for ensuring clinicians are properly licensed and credentialed to provide care across various states and health plans. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of licensing and credentialing procedures, strong organizational abilities, and a service-oriented approach. Responsibilities include maintaining licensing documentation, assisting PTs with new state license applications, coordinating credentialing with health plans, releasing information to external agencies, and proactively managing license renewals. The role requires intermediate proficiency in Google Workspace, AdminUI, Passport/ProviderTrust, CAQH, and PDF editors. Qualifications include familiarity with PT licensing and credentialing regulations, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and good communication skills. Experience with clinicians, licensing platforms, and fast-paced health tech environments are a plus.

Sword is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Licensing & Credentialing Coordinator to support our Physical Therapists (PTs) through all stages of the licensing and credentialing lifecycle. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our clinicians are appropriately licensed and credentialed to deliver care across various states and health plans. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of licensing and credentialing processes, strong organizational skills, and a service-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, maintain, and regularly update comprehensive records of licensing and credentialing documentation for all Physical Therapists.
Partner 1:1 with PTs to support the acquisition of new state licenses, guiding them through the process and ensuring timely submission of all necessary documentation.
Coordinate credentialing efforts for PTs with various health plans, acting as a liaison between clinicians and plans to facilitate smooth and timely credentialing.
Release appropriate information and documentation to external agencies upon request, following all relevant policies and privacy regulations.
Monitor license and credential expiration dates; proactively notify PTs and assist them in completing renewal requirements ahead of deadlines.
Serve as a knowledgeable resource to PTs by answering questions and providing guidance on basic licensing and credentialing processes, including Sword-specific requirements and those of external organizations.

Systems and Tools :

Intermediate user of core team systems, including:

- Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

- AdminUI

- Passport/ProviderTrust

- CAQH

- Adobe Acrobat or FoxIt PDF Editor

Qualifications:

Familiarity with regulatory and payer requirements related to PT licensing and credentialing.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience working 1:1 with clinicians is a plus.
Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and in compliance with privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
Limited knowledge of regulatory and compliance matters, with the ability to escalate and consult more senior analysts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with licensing and credentialing platforms or tracking systems.
Knowledge of state licensing boards and major health plan credentialing processes.
Previous work in a remote or fast-paced health tech environment is a plus.

€16,800 - €26,800 a year

Base: €12,950 - €20,350

Variable: €648 - €1,018

Net equity value per year: €3,220 - 5,060
