Your Mission

As our newest teammate, you will work side by side with our Lighting Leads. Together, you will help execute some of the most awe-inspiring landscapes in video games. You and our team will be accomplishing this by having routine 1:1s, weekly team meetings, you will have an in-depth training period, and open dialog / high communication with adjacent teams. Responsibilities

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Create global and local lighting for game environments when taking into account the requirements of gameplay, game narrative and mood;
  • Collaborate with different team members such as level, quest, and narrative designers to present the perfect visuals and the resulting player experience;
  • Adjust in-game lighting according to the art directions and level design;
  • Make use of blueprint to streamline lighting processes;

Player Profile

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 3 years working experience in lighting;
  • Participated in the production of at least 1 shipped AAA games in lighting role;
  • Familiarity with UE5 and 3D softwares, especially Lumen in UE5;
  • Deep knowledge base in real world lighting, including the use color, source, brightness, composition, and shadow;
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest developments in lighting tech, with experience in various lighting techniques and tools;
  • Highly self-motivated, great communication skills and team spirit;
  • Passion for the game industry.
