At Altagram, we are seeking a talented Localization Engineer to join our team in the APAC region. In this pivotal role, you will support the project management team by analyzing and preparing localization kits. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the Linguistic team, providing assistance throughout all localization processes. This includes ensuring the seamless operation of our CAT tools and localization software, particularly MemoQ, Plunet, and Smartling.
This position can be done fully remote, the candidate should ideally be based in the APAC Time zone.
YOUR ROLE
- Conduct thorough analysis and preparation of diverse source files and formats to optimize localization project workflows.
- Partner with various teams to enhance their workflows, assisting with repetitive and specialized tasks to improve overall efficiency.
- Identify technical training needs and lead informative sessions for project managers and linguistic coordinators, empowering the team with essential skills.
- Actively participate in internal or client calls to provide support to project managers and sales representatives, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Offer comprehensive assistance to the entire team in utilizing our tools and resolving any technical challenges that may arise.
