The Localization Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for testing game products in various languages, identifying and reporting bugs using Jira, creating test plans and documentation, coordinating external testers, collaborating with development teams on localization matters, ensuring smooth operation of localization tools, and supporting the localization team throughout the process to deliver a high-quality localized product. This role requires fluency in English and at least one other language, strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a passion for gaming. Experience in localization QA, proofreading, or translation within the video game industry is essential.

Job Description

We are looking for a linguistic specialist with a passion for gaming to take on the role of Localization Quality Assurance Analyst. The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, ability to spot mistakes in visual media, and an excellent command of English and at least one other language supported in our games. As the LQA Analyst you will support the Localization team in bringing our games to players worldwide in their own native languages, and you will ensure that the linguistic quality of our products is of the highest standard. To accomplish this you will work with cross-functional internal teams as well as cooperate with outside partners. If you are a linguist and an enthusiastic gamer, this position will help you develop both passions in a professional capacity.


Daily Responsibilities:

  • Testing company products in various languages to spot localization issues.
  • Reporting bugs in Jira.
  • Creating test plans and testing documentation.
  • Coordinating teams of external testers during multilingual test rounds.
  • Working cross-functionally with different developer teams on localization-related matters.
  • Ensuring smooth operation of localization tools and pipelines and proposing improvements.
  • Supporting the Localization team throughout the localization process.
  • Delivering a complete and bug-free localized version of the company’s products.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in English and at least one other language supported in our products.
  • Strong language skills (an educational background in languages is a plus).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in localization quality assurance, proofreading or translation (preferably in the video game industry).
  • Familiarity with Jira or other bug reporting tools.
  • Great attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly with Excel.
  • Passion for games and gaming skills (particularly open world).

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with Unreal Engine or other game engines.
  • Experience in coordinating multilingual and multicultural teams.
  • Experience with creating and executing test plans.
  • Knowledge of localization trends in the video game industry.
  • Credits on one or more AAA titles.

Additional Information

Working mode

  • Office-First: working primarily from the Warsaw studio for at least 3 days a week.
  • Your first onboarding month will take place in our studio for 5 days a week.
