Job Description

This Logic Design Engineer role at Marvell involves taking ownership of digital blocks, leading the design from architecture definition through implementation. The engineer will drive all aspects of block design, including area and timing optimization, lint, and CDC/RDC analysis. The role requires close collaboration with verification engineers and requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The engineer should be a quick learner with the ability to grasp complex systems and architectures rapidly, and should also be a team player with strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
Must have:
  • RTL design using Verilog or SystemVerilog is essential.
  • Experience with design tools for linting, CDC/RDC, synthesis, STA, and power optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Good to have:
  • Experience in SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with backend flows and physical design constraints.

We are a highly skilled development team of talented engineers, driving the development of Marvell's next-generation network switches.
Our team is responsible for a wide range of IPs for switching products, from initial definition through architecture, design, and verification.

What You Can Expect

  • Take ownership of one or more key digital blocks, leading the design from architecture definition through implementation.
  • Drive all aspects of block design, including area and timing optimization, lint, and CDC/RDC analysis.
  • Work closely with the verification engineers to support and contribute to block-level verification, ensuring alignment between design and verification goals.

What We're Looking For

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in digital design .
  • Proficiency in RTL design using Verilog or SystemVerilog is essential.
  • Solid experience with design tools for linting, CDC/RDC, synthesis, STA, and power optimization.
  • Familiarity with backend flows and physical design constraints.
  • Experience in SystemVerilog and UVM-based verification is a significant advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Quick learner with the ability to grasp complex systems and architectures rapidly.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
