Job Description
This remote LQA Game Tester position requires a native-level German speaker (C2 minimum) and a very good level of English (C1 minimum). Responsibilities include identifying and reporting translation errors, spelling mistakes, ambiguities, and ensuring the game's tone, style, audio, text, and cultural correctness align with the target audience. Testing will involve various platforms (PC, mobile, VR, consoles). Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus. Proficiency in MS Office suite is needed, and Jira experience is beneficial. The role operates during a day shift (8:00 AM to 4:00 PM).

Description

You will be responsible for:
- Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
- Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
- Creating reports in Jira. You will be working on a range of testing platforms, including PC, mobile devices, VR, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox consoles and more.
Requirements
- Perfect knowledge of German (C2 is minimum).
- Very good level of English (C1 level is minimum)
- Good technical and MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Teams).
- Passionate about gaming and a curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
- Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing is a plus.
