Job Description
Join Testronic's Localization Quality Assurance (LQA) team as a Game Tester with Norwegian language expertise. Responsibilities include identifying and correcting translation errors, ensuring proper tone and style, verifying cultural accuracy of text and audio, and creating reports in Excel and Jira. You'll provide suggestions for quality improvements. The role requires native or C2 level Norwegian, C1 level English, excellent grammar and punctuation skills, and strong communication abilities. Experience in game testing or translation is a plus. This is a remote, casual contract position offering a competitive salary and opportunities for growth within the gaming industry.

Description
Join our Localization Quality Assurance department and be responsible for:
- Finding and correcting any translation errors, spelling mistakes and ambiguities.
- Checking the game’s tone and style, audio, text, and cultural correctness.
- Creating reports in Excel and Jira.
- Submitting quality improving suggestions for the errors you find.
Requirements
- Norwegian C2 level or native.
- English C1 level to ensure internal communication and reporting.
- Perfect knowledge of grammar, spelling, and punctuation of your language.
- Good MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- Great communication skills allowing to express yourself precise and clearly.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure of time.
You can score extra points for:
- Passion for gaming and curiosity for new titles (all types of games count!).
- Experience in game testing, translation, or linguistic game testing.
- Familiarity of platforms like Sony (PS4/PS5), Microsoft (PC, Xbox One/XSX/XSS), Nintendo (Switch), Apple (iOS).
