Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications
  • Explore and analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights
  • Optimize machine learning models to improve accuracy, performance, and efficiency
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed models, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary refinements
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning and contribute to the continuous improvement of our ML infrastructure
  • Maintain documentation for models, algorithms, processes, and findings

Requirements

  • 5+ years ML research or ML engineering at a venture-backed startup or top technology firm
  • Embraces rapid prototyping with an emphasis on user feedback
  • Autonomous and excited about taking ownership of major initiatives
  • Extreme passion for learning, growth, and leadership
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role in developing and delivering machine learning solutions
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R or Julia
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or scikit-learn
  • Deep understanding of various machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data modeling techniques
  • Solid knowledge of cloud platforms and distributed computing frameworks
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment
