Machine Shop Operator

YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform basic tasks in manufacturing, including stamping, hobbing, assembly, packaging, painting, drilling, reaming, tapping, milling, countersinking, deburring, and cutting.

• Operate machine shop equipment, including learning to set up and run CNC machines.

• Follow standardized processes and production methods to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

• Inspect parts using measuring tools to verify quality and meet specifications.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace while adhering to safety protocols.

• Record production data and support routine machine maintenance such as cleaning and lubrication.

• Assist with packaging, assembly, and finishing tasks to prepare parts for delivery.

HOW TO SUCCEED

• Work Experience: At least one year of experience performing similar essential functions.

• Reliability: Consistent attendance and adherence to company policies.

• Safety and Quality: Strong commitment to maintaining safety and meeting quality standards.

• Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Comprehension and Writing: Ability to read and understand instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write basic correspondence.
