Job Description

What Your Impact Will Be: 

  • Operate & maintain electrical equipment, including generators, electrical panels, lighting fixtures, and associated
  • equipment.
  • Inspection of electrical systems and their components to evaluation condition, identify necessary repairs and
  • recommending preventative maintenance.
  • Completion of corrective and preventive work orders as assigned.
  • Inspect Fire/Life/Safety systems and repair when possible or assist contractor with repairs if necessary.
  • Assist contractors to support T.I.’s and new construction.
  •  Maintains relevant logs and documentation.
  • Assist with management of inventories.
  • Responds to emergency situations during and after hours.
  • Complete work at or below positions Grade Level as required by management.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Other similar responsibilities.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Three (3) years of Industrial/Commercial experience working as an Electrician.
  • Experience with working with various AC voltages ranging from low (12VAC) to High (480VAC) both single and
  • three phase systems.
  • Understanding of basic electronics and programming.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or devices to remove and replace defective parts.
  • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary.
  • Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
  • Experience performing routine maintenance.
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills.
  • Eye for detail.
  • Professional presentation and attitude.
  • Ability to maintain focus while working individually.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to accurately estimate jobs time, labor, & material for all types of projects.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computers and software for emails, work orders, and other basic office software.
  • Use of proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting
  • procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
  • Understanding of SDS (Safety Data Sheet) terminology and usage.

The base hourly rate for this position is $45.42 per hour. 
**This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base hourly rate will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
