Job Description: Business Intelligence Manager

Location: Bangalore /Rest of India

Reports to: Director, Business Analytics & Insights

 A quick snapshot…  

As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will have to transform complex data into actionable insights. In this role, you’ll work with large datasets, optimize Power BI reporting, and automate routine reporting processes while ensuring business stakeholders get clear, effective visualizations. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Power BI, experience with complex data models, and a deep understanding of renewals, customer retention, and/or customer success metrics.

You will modernize our insights delivery by replacing manual processes with dynamic Power BI dashboards, ensuring leadership receives information quickly. With your expertise, we will create impactful, data-driven narratives that promote strategic action.

 Are you the person we’re looking for? 

 Related experience.   As a Business Intelligence Manager you will have 5 years of experience leading a team of BI developers or data analysts.

You should have a strong background in Power BI development, data modeling, and DAX, as well as hands-on SQL (preferably in Snowflake) for querying and optimizing data for reporting.

Implementation. Your experience in implementing data governance standards and ensuring data quality, consistency, and security across analytics solutions. Your expertise in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for BI processes, data models, and reporting solutions to ensure clarity, and compliance.

Your experience with Power Automate and other automation tools is a plus 

Requirements Gathering & Documentation. Support the business analytics team in translating vague or incomplete business requirements into actionable technical specifications. Document detailed upstream data needs for the IT data warehousing team

 Strategic Data Integration. Collaborate with the enterprise data analytics team to improve integration, scalability, and reusability of existing data models. 

 Standardization & Process Improvement. Lead efforts to create and enforce documentation standards, ensuring consistency in definitions and methodologies across datasets. 

 Automation & Efficiency Gains. Oversee and contribute to automating routine deliverables, including board reporting and senior leadership reporting, to enhance efficiency and accuracy. 

 Qualifications

 A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or equivalent. A technical Degree with an MBA is strongly preferred.
